General Discussion / Wifi Router
« on: March 06, 2021, 05:06:11 pm »
In the 3 year old house I bought, I inherited a WIFI router that is enclosed in a metal box in the laundry room.
I have installed a Verizon signal booster upstairs and that is working ok with my computer.
I'm concerned about the occasional signal interruption on the main tv in the great room. Any suggestions on how to solve that problem?
Is it normal to have a router enclosed in a metal box, where it connects to the coax cables in the house (which are no longer used except for where
I used one upstairs to plug in my router.)
